The knives I make are made-to-order, meaning that someone requests a knife from me, and it is added to the list. I try to go in the order of when the order was received, but sometimes this is not possible. I do everything in-house, except for heat treating, which I have done by a professional heat treating service so that the blades can be cryogenically treated and individually tested for optimum hardness.

This means that sometimes I must work out of chronological order, since I must work in batches to be economical. That combined with current workload means that lead time right now is about 4-5 months from confirming your order until it is complete. Nobody wants to complete these knives better and faster than me, but I cannot compromise quality for speed or money.

The best way to get one of my knives is simply to email me at wilsoncustomknives@gmail.com and tell me exactly what you want. This allows me to have a written record I can refer to later. The model name/number, and any options. Most of the knives have videos explaining them and their features, but feel free to ask me any questions, I am happy to help out and want to get you exactly what you want. You can even include a link to the knife you want in your email.

Additionally, sometimes (usually every month or two) I have an additional knife complete and ready to sell and I will offer it for immediate sale through my newsletter, which you can subscribe to on the homepage of my website. Simply enter your email address and submit it, and you will automatically receive an email when a knife is up for sale, along with any updates to the knife shop. This is usually whatever knife I have felt like working on in addition to orders, and is up for grabs.  These knives are offered on a first come, first served basis, meaning whoever replies to the email with an “I’ll take it!” first gets the knife. Your information is NEVER shared with ANYONE, and is strictly confidential.

Thank you for your interest in my knives.     07/03/2020
